Southland’s sandy beaches, green farmland, meandering rivers and rugged mountains are the setting for innumerable special adventures. Combining all these stunning landscapes into one spectacular journey is the Southern Scenic Route, connecting Milford Sound with New Zealand’s southernmost city of Invercargill, the rugged Catlins coast and Dunedin.
